Vet Teams is open and operational during COVID-19!
Michelle, MBA, BS, CVT, Fear Free Certified Elite
Founder & Owner
Michelle’s calling to work in veterinary medicine was evident from a young age. While in the second grade, during a trip to their veterinarian for her dog Charlie’s annual exam, she was allowed “in the back,” where she was able to gaze upon a preserved heart that was infested with heartworms. Shortly after this adventure, she declared she would grow up to be a veterinarian! Upon turning 15, she started working as a kennel hand in a large Chicagoland veterinary clinic, where she was then cross-trained into a customer service role as well as received on-the-job training as a veterinary technician.
After moving to Minnesota to attend college, Michelle graduated from North Dakota State University, with a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Technology, in 2002. During her college years, she worked in a mixed animal practice, gaining experience in large animal medicine to complement her small animal background. She received her credentials as a Certified Veterinary Technician from the state of Minnesota in 2003 and currently maintains this status.
In 2009 Michelle received her Masters of Business Administration, with an emphasis in Veterinary Medicine Management, from Minnesota School of Business. During this time, Michelle continued to work as a CVT in various aspects of companion animal medicine but spent the majority of her time working in veterinary technology education.
Currently, Michelle spends her career time providing relief services for various companion animal practices as well as some specialty and referral practices, traveling to different national conventions to speak and mentor others in the field, and growing Vet Teams to better serve the veterinary community.

Brittney, BS, CVT
When Brittney isn’t working she enjoys staying active and enjoying the outdoors. She also enjoys listening to true crime podcasts, working on embroidery and crochet, and catching up on her favorite streaming shows. She is a Hufflepuff, her favorite color is green, and her favorite dessert is chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream.
Brittney is owned by three cats—Mabel, Orson, and Gilbert.
I was born and raised in California. I moved to Minnesota in 2015. Animals have always been a passion of mine. I have 2 dogs, a cat, and a corn snake currently. I have worked at the Oakland zoo for a few months before moving out here. I volunteered at the AHS in St. Paul before deciding I wanted to pursue veterinary medicine. I graduated from Argosy with my AAS in Veterinary Technology in 2018. I became certified in April 2019.
I have way too many hobbies, I guess I collect them. My current favorite hobby is playing my guitar. Music is also a passion of mine. Books were a big part of my childhood. I am also a Hufflepuff, enjoy rainbows, and love pretty much all animals.
My favorite thing to do in my free time is crochet projects. I usually like to make toy animals over anything else. I also work as a consultant in a few different direct sale companies. My boyfriend is a car guy and loves classic cars and therefore got me interested. He has a ’66 Chrysler 300 and a ’76 Jeep J10. I have an ’89 Dodge Dakota that belonged to my Grandpa. We enjoy bringing them to the drive-in when we’re able as well and going to car shows.
I was born and raised in St. Paul, MN. I currently live with my boyfriend, who is an auto body technician and whom I’ve been with since 2005. We have many animals that we’ve adopted and/or rescued throughout the last few years. My boyfriend is my rock and also my voice of reason. Otherwise, I’m sure we would be running a zoo right now.
